Dementia-Friendly City Train the Trainer program
The Alzheimer Society of B.C., in partnership with the City of Vancouver, developed the Dementia-Friendly City Train the Trainer program that instructs front-line municipal staff on how to deliver the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s standardized "Dementia-Friendly City" education to staff and volunteers in their workplace. This program aims to educate city staff about dementia, reduce stigma, raise awareness and provide practical suggestions about supporting people living with dementia in the community.
