Climb for Alzheimer's

Currently, more than 85,000 people are living with dementia in B.C. While there’s no cure yet, together we can make sure no one has to face this disease alone. The Climb for Alzheimer’s returns Sunday, September 22 for its final year at Grouse Mountain – help us celebrate by registering today!

0% cure. 100% courage.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Climb for Alzheimer's at Grouse Mountain on September 22, 2024. Fundraising is now closed. You can still make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. here.

2024 Event information

The Climb for Alzheimer’s returns on Sunday, September 22 for its final year at Grouse Mountain. There are two ways to participate – hike the Grouse Grind® or walk the more accessible Summit Stroll atop Grouse Mountain.

Scale new heights, rise to the challenge and champion people affected by dementia while raising vital funds in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s programs and services for anyone on the dementia journey.

Together, we can help build a province where people living with dementia, their caregivers and their families are acknowledged, supported and included: a truly dementia-friendly B.C.

Want to participate in the Climb without doing the hike?

In order to be fully accessible to all, the Summit Stroll is an alternative option to hiking the Grouse Grind®. Summit Strollers will take the gondola up the mountain, make their way around the designated route at the peak and celebrate with fellow participants at the summit. Strollers can take the gondola back down at any time of their choosing.
